Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SurveyOS website and platform, operated by OTZ Consulting Group LLC (“OTZ,” “we,” “us”). By using SurveyOS, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

SurveyOS is software that automates order intake, property research, pricing, and county-document retrieval for land survey firms. Specific features depend on your plan and may change as the product evolves.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Your data and ownership

You retain ownership of the data, orders, and configurations you bring to or generate within SurveyOS. We use them only to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. SurveyOS, including its software and design, remains the property of OTZ.

5. Professional responsibility

SurveyOS automates the work arounda survey order — intake, research, pricing, and document retrieval. It does not perform, certify, or sign land surveys. A licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in responsible charge remains solely responsible for the professional judgment, accuracy, and sealing of any survey, in accordance with Florida law. Outputs from SurveyOS are tools to assist a licensed professional, not a substitute for professional review.

6. Fees

Fees, setup charges, and plan details are described at the time of sale and in your service agreement. Unless stated otherwise, plans are month-to-month after setup.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OTZ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability will not exceed the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or as required by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
